Steps to Register in SAM:
- Preparation:
- Our SAM experts ensure you have all the necessary information, including your DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) number, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and banking information.
- They gather information about your business, such as the physical address, contact details, and business type.
2. Creating a Govt Login Account:
- Our team “Sign in” and then “Create an Account” to be redirected to govt login.
- We follow the instructions to create a govt login account, providing an email address and creating a password.
3. Log in to SAM:
- After creating and verifying your govt login account, we log into SAM using your login credentials.
4. Register a New Entity:
- We will be required to provide detailed information about your entity, including:
- General Information: Legal business name, physical address, and DUNS number.
- Financial Information: Bank routing number, account number, and type of account.
- Executive Compensation: Information about the compensation of your entity’s executives, if applicable.
- Proceedings: Information on any criminal proceedings against your entity.
5. Complete and submit:
- Our experts review all the entered information for accuracy and submit the registration. Our team will receive a confirmation email once the registration is submitted.
6. Wait for validation:
- SAM will validate your information with the IRS and DUNS databases. This can take several days.
- Once validated, the team will share and receive a confirmation email stating that your entity is now active in SAM.
7. Annual Renewal:
- SAM registrations must be renewed annually. Ensure you update your information and renew your registration before it expires to remain eligible for federal contracts and grants.
